Bob was one of those all-around good guys, the friend or family member you wanted in your corner. He was also an idea guy; quickly offering a solution or thought on an obstacle in your way. He rarely sat still; always focusing on things that needed to be done, or quietly offering to help someone in need.
Bob was a generous spirit, and our kids were fortunate enough to experience that firsthand. He showed a genuine interest in their latest game, school activity, and/or life event. When we were in town, they hit up Cody to go check in on him or see when he was stopping by Todd & Kelli’s house almost immediately. He was loved.
We will all miss Bob & all his wisdom, life experience, and the example he left us with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Bob will be missed.
Karl, Julie, Zach, Ava, & Nick Baker

I have such fond memories of camping at Higgins Lake (we always left from the Volek's at around 4am), Bob trying to teach me how to water ski, and hanging out during card nights. Bob was a special man, great friend to my parents, and kind to everyone. I am sorry for your loss.
