Robert S. "BJ" Vroman, 75, of Titusville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Robert was born on March 27, 1950 in Titusville, a son of the late Robert L. "Rusty" Vroman and Ethel M. "Sue" Vroman.
He had attended the Titusville schools. Robert was employed at the former Foster Forbes Glass Plant in Oil City. He had also been employed at Strawbridge Pools and the former Molly's Mill in Titusville.
Robert was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. having served during a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He entered the service on July 30, 1968, in Pittsburgh and was transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve on April 9, 1970, with the rank of Corporal. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. on July 22, 1974.
Robert was a member of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion and of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW. He was also a member of the Titusville Moose Club.
He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar with family and friends, both electric and acoustic, as well as playing the piano, drums, mandolin and fiddle. He enjoyed most spending time with his family.
He is survived by his companion, Chris Titus of Titusville; children, Robert S. Vroman and Stacie M. Vroman of Titusville, Patrick A. Vroman, Sr. of Titusville, Amber L. Titus of Titusville, and Heather Titus of Titusville; grandchildren, Corey Vinopal and wife Haley, Danielle Motter and husband Scott, Robert Vroman, Donovan Vroman and fiancée Karissa Beers, Christian Vroman and companion Alyssa Smith, Patrick Vroman, Zach Vroman and wife Sara, Taylor Vroman, Chanel Bishop, Ashleigh Titus, Gavin Nichols, Gage Ritchie, Ryan Titus, Abagail McCauley and Kaitlin McCauley; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Susan Ruot and husband Randall, Carol Pipher, Trish Anthony and husband Phil, and Connie Ackerman and husband Dan, all of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Wayne "Rusty" Vroman, Timothy William Vroman, and infant Patrick A. Vroman.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion.
