Robert Wagner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 27, 2026.
Robert Bob Wagner went home to be with his LORD on February 24 at Glendora, CA. Robert was born February 2, 1949, in Brawley, CA to John Robert and Lois Isabelle Wagner. Robert lived until his death at 77 years old in Azusa, CA with his wife Patricia Anne Wagner for 40 years.

Robert was born into a loving Christian family who served in their community and at Imperial Community Church. Robert graduated from Imperial High School where he pitched for the Varsity baseball team. He went on to play for Cal Poly Pamona. He retired and umpired for little leagues, Babe Ruth, pony leagues, and high school teams until his death. Robert's pastimes were prospecting for gold, playing his harmonica, base fiddle, guitar and banjo. Robert helped write and edit his wife Patricia Wagner's 8+ Christian fictional novels. He also assisted Pat with many art shows featuring her artwork.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Pat and his parents. He is survived by his sister June Moran of Pamona, CA; brother Kenneth and Angela Wagner of Cypress, TX. Bob had 3 nephews: Nathaniel Wagner of Cypress; Jason and Anushri of Durham, NC; and Thaddeus Wagner of Greensboro, NC. He had 3 nieces: Amy Moran of Carona; Anna Burns of Riverside; and Hannah and Cameron Smale of Camberley, UK. He had 4 great nephews Gabriel and Sean Bruns; Max and Angelo Moran-Velasquez; and a great niece Saaika Wagner.
