Sad news travels slow but Bob was my first field training officer with the Fresno Police Department... California - what I learned and respected through Bob was candid honesty; focusing on the person and not the situation, and his satire for crazy situations which helped out on many an occasion. Bob's one lingering distraction was his bird tweeting he'd often do.... where people and officers alike would go - Huh? Rest in Peace Bob - your sense of humor will always be missed.
