With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert "Rob" Weatherbee, who died after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, who meant everything to him.
Rob was born in Pittsfield, MA, the son of Donald B. and Marilyn L. (Button) Weatherbee. He was a proud graduate of Littleton High School, Class of 1985, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1990. He later built a successful career in office automation, working for many years at Kyocera.
Rob was a man who lived for his family and cherished every moment with them. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Michelle T. (Pollister) Weatherbee, and their two daughters, Morgan and Vivian Weatherbee, all of Hudson, MA. He also leaves behind his mother, Marilyn Weatherbee of Moultonborough, NH; his sister Donna Pestana and her husband Wayne; and his brother Richard Weatherbee and his wife Susan, all of New Hampshire. Rob was a proud uncle to Brandon Weatherbee and his wife Brittany of Maine, Noel Weatherbee of Concord, MA, Ashley Scott and her husband Gerry of NH, Brett Pestana and his wife Niki of NH, and to Abigail, Julia, and Emily Pollister of North Andover. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Scott Pollister and his wife Maura of North Andover, and his father-in-law George Pollister and his wife Winnie of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his father, Donald B. Weatherbee, and mother-in-law, Yvette Pollister.
Rob's heart was always at Lake Winnipesaukee, at his parents' home, surrounded by water, sunshine, and the people he loved most. He found great joy in boating, water skiing, downhill skiing, family dinners, and lively game nights. Whether laughing around the dinner table or soaking in the quiet beauty of the lake, Rob treasured every second.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Rob was a diehard New England Patriots fan and a season ticket holder for 28 years. He also loved the Tottenham Hotspurs, a team he grew to support after becoming involved in his daughters' youth soccer programs. What started as cheering from the sidelines evolved into a lasting commitment to coaching. Rob began as a volunteer coach in the town's recreation league and later took on a larger role in the Town Select League. His passion for the game was contagious, and his coaching style-often marked by practice plans so elaborate they'd leave even his assistant coaches scratching their heads-was unforgettable and deeply appreciated. Rob brought creativity, dedication, and heart to every team he led.
Above all, Rob will be remembered for his warmth, humor, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and community. His impact as a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coach, and friend will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA

It may sound cliché, but Rob truly was "a Brother from another Mother". I met Rob when he was 13 years old and thought of him as my second younger brother. During our dating years, Donna and I would attend his hockey games, football games, high school plays and graduation. He was the youngest groomsman at our wedding and we attended his graduation at Embry Riddle University in Florida. He was a lot like his Dad. He put family first, loved sports, Lake Winnipesaukee and a good laugh. Rob was loyal to his core. Loyal to sports teams, friends and family members. He was a man of character and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Rest in Peace my Brother,
Love, Wayne

Rob. What can I say. We lost one of the good ones. Rob was courageous, kind, unassuming, nonjudgemental and had a great gift of humor. I was so proud to be able to call him my brother. He was very proud of his family and had deep love for Michelle, Morgan and Vivian. I´m disappointed that he won´t be able to see Morgan and Vivian continue to grow and thrive, but I know he´ll be watching and guiding them from heaven. My heart is forever broken. His departure leaves such a large void in our family. It´s comforting to know that he is now at peace and with our Dad. He will always be in my thoughts when I´m at the lake or watching sports. So many great shared memories!
Always in my heart.
Love, Donna

I had the honor of working with Rob for many years at Kyocera. From many conversations I know how much he cherished his family and loved spending time at the lake. Rob often spoke about his girls and their many accomplishments. He was incredibly proud of them. He was a such a great person. God bless Rob and may the lord provide his family peace during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to Robs family and friends. I have many fond memories of Rob hanging out with my brother playing electronic football. He was a special person and will surely be missed. Praying his wife and daughters find comfort in the many memories he made with them.

It was an absolute pleasure to coach TSL soccer with Rob. He had a clear passion for the game and a sincere interest in having a positive impact on the children we were coaching. Rob spoke often to me about how proud he was of his two daughters. He was a good man and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to cross paths with him. -Jon-Paul
