Dianne Marie (Gray) McDowell, age 67 of Weare, New Hampshire, formerly of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Gregory N. McDowell for 47 years.
Dianne Marie Gray was born in Framingham, Massachusetts, on March 2, 1958, a daughter of the late Herbert Raymond Gray and Florence Irene (Furbush) Gray. Raised and educated in Littleton, Dianne graduated from Littleton High School.
Dianne and Gregory married on July 8, 1978. They lived in several places in including Ayer, Greenville, Peterborough before settling in Weare, NH. Dianne was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her children. Her first job was at Very Fine in Littleton, Massachusetts doing accounts payable and payroll. She worked as a bus driver in Weare, NH for 14 years, which she enjoyed very much. She treated all the children as her own. She worked as accounts receivable for Village Fire Place Products in Goffstown, NH. She worked as an administrative assistant to the owner of Re/Max Property Specialist Group in Bedford, NH and obtained her real estate license. Just before she retired she worked at Comcast Business Class in Manchester, NH.
During her spare time she most enjoyed being with family and friends. Other hobbies she enjoyed very much include: cooking and baking, drawing (she loved art), painting ceramics, sewing, knitting, crocheting, traveling and camping.
Along with her husband she is survived by her children, Bonnie J. McDowell of Weare, NH and Daniel R. McDowell of Glennville, Georgia. She is also survived by many cousins in both her mother and father’s side of the family.
Services at Westlawn cemetery, Littleton, MA will be private.
