Ronald Vincent Meeden, 70, died unexpectedly on August 19th, 2025. Roanld was born on October 19th, 1954 in Haverill, Massachusetts to Clifford and Vivian Meeden.

Ronald graduated Haverill High School in 1972 before attending Alderson-Broaddus College where he met his future wife Mary Alice Thomas. Ronald and Mary then spent several years in Salt Lake City, Utah before moving back east to New Hampshire. Ronald and Mary married in September of 1980 and moved to Weare in 1981. Over several years he built their post and beam style house. Ronald was a self-employed carpenter for nearly 50 years.

Earlier in his life Ronald spent a lot of time outdoors hiking, camping, and skydiving. His love of travelling took him across the country both by driving or hitchhiking. He travelled extensively in Europe and also took a six-month long honeymoon backpacking across South America with Mary.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Thomas, his three sons, Matthew Thomas Meeden, Thomas Vincent Meeden, and Daniel Boone Meeden, his granddaughter Mackenzie Athena Meeden, and his sister Rachael Wallace.

A memorial will be held between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday August 25th, 2025 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Weare, New Hampshire. At 6 p.m. the floor will be opened up to anyone who would like to say a few words or share memories.
