Robert Lyle Webb III, 56, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, in Aldie, Virginia after a long battle with cancer. He was born on June 25, 1968, in Natick, Massachusetts. Resided in Centreville Virgina.
He leaves behind his loving wife Deborah (Holmes) Webb, daughter Allison (Webb) Gough and husband Bernard Gough, son Robert Lyle Webb IV and his wife Sherri Webb. His cherished grandchildren Collin Webb-Gough and Breah Gough who were "Paw-Paw" to them. His beloved father and mother Robert Lyle Webb Jr. and Carolyn A. Webb of Milford Massachusetts. His brother Brian J. Webb and his wife Tressa Webb, nieces and nephew, Hunter, Dillan and Brian J. Webb Jr. of Merrimack, New Hampshire.
His in-laws, Thomas and Catherine Holmes of Grafton, Massachusetts. Brother-in-law Thomas "Chip" Holmes and his wife Susan, niece and nephew, Jessie and Seth Holmes, of Connecticut. Nieces, Jennifer (Holmes) Tucker and Samatha Holmes. Also, his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him were his Grandparents Robert L Webb and Bethyl Webb of Newton Massachusetts, Irene "Nana" Delorie of Natick, Massachusetts, Brother-in law David Holmes of New York. Cousin, Billy Delorie of Holliston, Massachusetts and Nephew Ty Webb of Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Rob was a graduate of Natick High School, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, where he was a fraternity brother with Delta Chi. Rob received his Master's degree from Bentley University McCallum Graduate School and worked there for many years as Director of Events in Waltham, Massachusetts. Later to relocate to Virginia to expand his career with ASCD as Managing Director of Conferences and Events.
Rob enjoyed many family vacations whether it was to a lake in New Hampshire on his boat or off to England, Hawaii or Alaska. He was an avid fan of running 5K events and the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Rob's smile, laughter and love for family and friends will remember his spirit and winning attitude. "The Day That God Took You Home"
Rob was laid to rest August 7, 2024, at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, Virginia. A memorial service was performed at St. Patrick's Church Natick Massachusetts on August 17, 2024. Donations may be made in Rob's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
