Robert "Bob" Paul Weber, Sr.
Robert P. Weber, Sr., age 84 of Erie, formerly of McKean Twp. passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 28, 1939 in Erie, the son of the late Gilbert J. and Dorothy G. Hoehn Weber.
He was a graduate of Tech Memorial H.S.
He was an electrician, draftsman, estimator, and project manager retiring from Keystone Electric Construction Co.
He was a member of St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed time with his entire family. He was especially proud of his life-time accomplishment of building his family's log home in McKean.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Shirley Weber and two brothers; James and Anthony Weber.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Charleen Joan Lynch Weber, two daughters; Cheryl M. Mantsch (James) of Harborcreek, Lisa A. Barker of Erie, four sons: Michael P. Weber (Lisa) of McKean, Stephen A. Weber (Jody) of Harborcreek, Timothy G. Weber (Cynthia) of Colonial Hts., VA, Robert P. Weber, Jr. of Erie, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, five sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier R. C. Church, 8880 Main Street, McKean, PA 16426, on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 9 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10 am. Interment St. Francis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hunt of a Life Time Foundation, 6297 Buffalo Road, Harborcreek, PA 16421.
