Robert Weiser Obituary
Bobby passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Judy, daughter Shannon (Rob) Kozarits; grandchildren, Ryan and Raina; brother, Paul Weiser; sister, Joanne Ruby. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Mary; siblings, Geraldine Klix, Marilyn Congilaro, Nancy Glenn & Ronald Weiser.
Bobby was born in and lived in Rochester his entire life. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports growing up, his favorites being baseball, golf and speed skating. He had many fond memories of his childhood home and friends on Spruce Avenue.
He was a dedicated employee of Gannett Newspapers for 35 years.
While he was passionate about hobbies like horse racing, lawn care and playing cards, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. They were the pride of his life.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Tuesday, March 11th at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd. Inurnment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobby's honor may be sent to Hildebrandt Hospice, 330 Monroe Ave. Suite 400, Rochester NY 14607.
