Private Family Services will be held. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
Bob was born March 4, 1936 in Blackduck, MN the son of James and Ema Weisert. He graduated from Blackduck High School in 1954. He served with the US Navy for 4 years. He worked in Alaska for 62 years. He was a member of the Operating engineers Local 302, retiring in 1988. He lived and worked in Palmer, AK, Anchorage, AK, Blackduck, and Bemidji. He was an avid hunter, trapper, and loved the outdoors. He was an incredible husband and father, who was well loved by all who met him.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Weisert, children, Vance Weisert, Tamara Theisen, and Vonda Meland, grandsons, Tucker, Tate, Trae, Nathan, Dylan, Evan, Ross, Cody, Zach, and Hunter, great grandchildren, Barley, Vance II, Emery, Hudson, Owen, Rylan, and Mason, sisters Lulabelle Peterson, and Joyce Olafson .
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.
