Carolyn Weisert Obituary
She was born June 25, 1925, in Louisville, one of two daughters to Fred H. Schwab and Sarah N. Reisinger Schwab. Her sister Ada Burkhart precedes her.
Carolyn was a Lutheran by faith and a member of the American Turners. She was generous, always thinking of others and never missed her weekly hair appointments.
In addition, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Merton L. Weisert and her beloved son, Roderick F. Weisert, MD.
Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Merleta A. Weisert, and Lisa M. Weisert (Eric Taylor); grandson, Kieren J. Weisert of New York, NY; and a daughter-in-law, Tammye Weisert-McBurney (Steve) of Corbin, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews. Visitation will be prior from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to Hosparus or WHAS Crusade For Children.
