Douglas Edward Bray, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 14, 2025. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Judy Bray.
Douglas was born on April 27, 1957, in Amherst, Ohio, to the late Ottis Bray and Elsie Bray.
He is survived by his siblings, Debbie Green and Pam (Sonny) Gray. He is also survived by his children: Tammy Akers (Danny), Melissa Dunbar (Adam), Jessica Gonzalez, Donald Krage II, Cristina Krage (James), Jeremy Krage, Joshua Krage, Steven Zmich (Katie), Morgan Bray, and Katelynn Bray. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lacie Akers, Haley Akers, Molly Akers, Mark Papp Jr., Antonio Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez (Eric), Joseph Gonzalez, and Hayden Krage, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Douglas is preceded in death by his siblings, Allen Palmo Bray, Georgia Rohana Marcum, Rozella Holloway, Rildia Cathern Bray, Geraldine Morrow, Lonnie Elaine Clark, Ottis Delno Bray, Robert Elwood Bray, and Denton Wayne Bray.
Douglas loved his family and had a passion for cars, especially the Ford Mustang. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan. He loved playing pool, spending time outdoors, and riding motorcycles in his younger years. Douglas also enjoyed playing solitaire and watching classic television shows.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial immediately afterward at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
