Virginia Evans, 97, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on January 16, 2026.
Virginia was born on June 19, 1928, in Clay Village, Kentucky, to the late Walter and Icy Strange.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Thomas and Mary Ellen Jones. Virginia was blessed with grandchildren, Kim Cox, Jennifer Thomas, Kyle Jones, and Lauren Hutchins, as well as six great-grandchildren.
Virginia enjoyed many things in life, including baking, doing puzzles, flowers, and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Eastwood Methodist Church.
In honor of Virginia the family ask that donations be made to Crusade for Children or your favorite charity.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m., with burial immediately afterward at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
