Dean Leroy Wuchterl Sr., 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026.
Dean was born on December 24, 1934, to the late Alois and Ruth Wuchterl.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marietta Wuchterl; his sister, Bonnie Kinser; and his two children, Dean Wuchterl Jr. (Carin) and Dale Wuchterl (Brenda). Dean is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle, Dustin, Lindsay, and Lance, who loved him dearly, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building things through his work in construction. He loved woodworking, farming, and snow skiing, and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. Dean was a faithful member of North East Christian Church.
The family asks that, in memory of Dean, donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
Services will be held in the chapel of Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. and burial immediately afterward.
