William Harold Biedinger, born on September 8, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who left this world on December 11, 2025. His life was a journey marked by an unwavering love for the Lord and a commitment to helping others, which he showcased through years of dedicated service and kindness.
Throughout his career, William worked for Papa John's for six years, after which he devoted another 21 years to the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center. His approachable nature meant he never met a stranger; he was known as a jokester, always ready to light up a room with his goofy sense of humor. William’s caring heart led him to actively volunteer at various food banks, soup kitchens, and with Dare to Care, embodying the spirit of generosity and compassion that defined his life.
He cherished his relationships with family, including his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Biedinger. Together, they cultivated a home filled with laughter and warmth. He was the proud father of three: Corey (Chelsey) Biedinger, Kevin Wilson, and Tonya (Robert) Allen, creating countless memories with his children that will be forever cherished. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, including Kristal Maddox, Landon Biedinger, Robert Allen, Cassie Allen, Kayla (Casey Stewart) Allen, Emily (Brandon Spaulding) Nakabayashi, Heather Gardner, and Raymond Bolton, as well as several great-grandchildren who were the lights of his life.
William was also survived by his brothers John (Ann) Biedinger and Steve Biedinger, and his best friend, Joseph Pryor who will remember him fondly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Melva Biedinger, as well as his brother Ron Biedinger.
In his leisure time, William relished fishing, cheering for the University of Kentucky, and taking trips to Lowe's, where he often found delight in the simple joys of life. His faith and devotion were deeply rooted in his time as a member of the former Harvest Church of God, where he found community and purpose.
William will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his vibrant spirit, loving memories, and contributions to the lives of others will remain in their hearts forever.
