Robert Whitlow Obituary
Robert graduated from Kankakee High School class of 1964. He was formally employed at Caterpillar in Joliet, IL for 30 years.
Robert's life pleasures included fishing, watching sports, and he was also a coach for both girls volleyball and basketball. He was also a true fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His biggest pleasure was driving back home to Kankakee to visit with his mother.
Robert went to eternal rest on December 3, 2023 at his loving daughter Carla's home.
He is preceded in death by his parents Norh and Magnolia Whitlow, his former wives, Irma (Price) Whitlow and Yvonne (Brittian) Whitlow, his brothers, Mark A. Whitlow and Gus Whitlow, and his sisters, Daisy M. (Tate) Whitlow and Hattie P. Whitlow and his son, Robert James Whitlow Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters; Jimmy W. Martin (Kankakee, IL) Michelle Whitlow (Indianapolis, IN) and Patricia A. Whitlow (Kankakee, IL); his brothers, Glenn Whitlow (Indianapolis, IN), Nara Whitlow (Kankakee, IL), Larry Whitlow (Kankakee, IL) and Troy V. Whitlow (Schaumburg, IL); his daughters, Zena Whitlow (Minnesota) and Carla Mc'Cray (Waukegan, IL) and two stepsons, Kevin (Sandra) Dorris and Avery (Cassandra) Dorris, along with his grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. And also his two best friends Walter Sperlock and John Blanchard.
