Robert Whitwam Obituary

Robert "Bob" Joseph Whitwam, Jr. died peacefully at home in Eau Claire on November 11.

Bob was born on June 22, 1943, to Robert Whitwam, Sr. and Margaret Whitwam (Hrubesh).

Bob was happily married to Jeanne Whitwam on June 23, 1979. Together they have six children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with two special grand-puppies. All of these were special to Bob.

Bob is blessed to have had siblings, Diane Kolkind (married to Chuck Kolkind), Richard Whitwam (married to Cindy Whitwam), John Whitwam (married to Carol Whitwam), Russell Whitwam and Michael Whitwam; and also many nieces and nephews.

Bob worked as a supervisor in the woodshop at the Career Development center (CDC). His cherished work family included Andy, Debbie, Gregg, Kenny, Alex and too many more to name.

Bob worked as many hours as possible until his passing on.

Bob's favorite hobby was fishing and hanging out with his family and friends.

At Bob's request in lieu of a funeral ceremony, a celebration of life will be held in June of 2025. More information to follow in the spring.
