Robert L. Wilby, 64, of Bensalem, PA, passed away on Friday, February 23rd, 2024 peacefully, at Einstein Medical Center- Philadelphia, PA.
Robert was born in Pottstown, PA on February 9, 1960, a son of Julie (Marcelewska) Wilby and the late Robert L. Wilby, Sr.
He was the husband of Elena (Dell'Aguzzo) Wilby.
He was a member of Gospel of Grace Christian School in Cheltenham, PA.
He served in the U.S. Army for four years from 1978 – 1982.
He worked as a Machine Operator and as a Basketball Coach.
Robert loved all sports, travelling and coaching children.
Bob was an amazing person,full of love and caring for all he met. His positive, happy attitude,even through much pain, astounded everyone.The children in his care and their parents felt the genuineness of his love for them. They all knew they mattered to him. All of us witnessed his faith, strength, happiness and friendship. He will live forever in our hearts and memories. Thank you Bob, Yapper and Mr. Wilby for being a part of our lives and this world. We love you!
Robert is survived by his loving wife Elena, mother Julie, sisters Joanne and Charlotte, brothers James and Scott.
He is also survived by many In-Laws, Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded by his father Robert Sr. and brother Michael.
Public Viewing will be held 9:30 to 11 AM on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. (at Hulmeville Rd.) in Bensalem, PA.
A Religious Service will begin at 11 AM. with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating.
