Robert Mark Wilkins, 60, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg, he was a son of Nettie Ward Wilkins of Moore and the late Jonathan Wayne Wilkins.
Mark was an optician with Wilkins Opticians and a member of St. John Masonic Lodge #333.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife of 41 years, Karen Greene Wilkins; three sons, Jonathan Wilkins (Jessica) of Spartanburg, Josh Wilkins (Emily) of Forest City and Jason Bryant (Rachel) of Boiling Springs; his grandchildren, Wesley Wilkins, Sarah Jo Wilkins, Ginger Wilkins, Cole Bryant and Luke Bryant; one brother, Jeffrey S. Wilkins (Katherine); and his canine buddy, Willie. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Jay D. Wilkins; and his special buddy, Bandit.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 797 Old Georgia Road, Moore, SC 29369. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm, conducted by the Rev. Joe Burnett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
