Robert Bonnett Williams, age 94, was born on August 24, 1930, in his parents' home in Dallas, Texas. His parents were John G. Williams and Emma Virginia Williams. He attended Sunset High School in Oak Cliff where he was a cheerleader and ran track. After graduation, he briefly attended Ranger Junior College and then transferred to Bethany Peniel College (now Southern Nazarene University) where he graduated and met the love of his life, Lenora Eagon. They were married on May 24, 1954, at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Bettye and John, daughter Robin, his wife Lenora, and grandson John Robert Williams. He passed on to heaven on June 29, 2025. He is survived by his brother Charles, 3 sons and their wives, Steve & Danna, Randy & Debby, and Rusty & Ginger, 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren (and counting).
Ordained in 1958 in Philadelphia, his first pastoral assignment was in Mount Vernon, Texas as Senior Pastor. In the following years, he attended and graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary, pastored Washington D.C. First Church of the Nazarene; Bridgeton, New Jersey Church of the Nazarene; Kilgore, Texas Church of the Nazarene; and Duncanville, Texas Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Although "retired" in 1998, Pastor Bob engaged in supply pastoring and serving faithfully whenever and wherever he was called. Robert has served on numerous boards and committees of the North/East Texas Nazarene District. Since 2010 he was the Associate Pastor at North Dallas Church of the Nazarene. His life impacted hundreds of friends, church members, fellow ministers, and family all who were grateful for his guidance, compassion, and wisdom through his lifetime. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob Williams was very special to our family. He supported during our tenure at Scottsville Camp and continued as a close family friend. He was an asset to the district through his ministry in so many ways. He is loved and will be missed.

Robert Williams was a good friend and our pastor when we lived in Dallas in the `60´s. He dedicated both of our children and was a faithful shepherd to our young family. We will always remember him as a caring pastor who consistently presented Jesus as the Truth, the Way and the Life.
