Mueller Funeral Home - MasonRobert G. Williams, affectionately known as Bob, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Fort Mill, South Carolina, at the age of 96. Born on August 8, 1929, in New Boston, Ohio, he led a life characterized by dedication to family, community service, and professional achievement.
Bob retired from Norfolk Southern Railway, where he served as an Assistant Superintendent. Following his retirement, he pursued a new career as a CPA. In 1992, he, alongside his daughter, established Williams Brown & Company, marking a significant chapter in his professional journey.
Throughout his life, church held deep significance for Bob, reflecting his strong faith and commitment to his community. He was an active volunteer with both the Mason and Montgomery Rotary Clubs and was a 32nd degree Mason with the Scottish Rite. In addition to his commitment to community service, Bob had a passion for golf, which brought him joy and camaraderie over the years.
Family was the very center of Bob's world. He is survived by his loving daughter, Judy B. (Thomas) Brown, along with three granddaughters: Stacey Ann (Bud) Conner, Erika Nadene (Timothy) Dorman, and Kelli Elizabeth (Gino) Caponi. He also treasured his role as a great-grandfather to Noah Robert Conner, Elin Conner, Koryn Nadene (Kyle) Ruggles, Adisyn Dorman, Jacob Caponi, Mia Caponi, and Joshua Caponi, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce Williams.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Edna (nee Clifton) Williams; his beloved wife, Nadene (nee Boggs) Williams; his son, Jeffrey B. Williams; and his brother, Harlan Williams.
A visitation will be held on January 16, 2026, at Mueller Funeral Home in Mason, Ohio, starting at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Bob will then be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM at Faith Presbyterian Church, Indian Land, SC 29707.

Robert G. Williams lived a full life, leaving behind a cherished legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him. His spirit will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
