Robert (Bob) L. Wing, age 67, of Glasgow, passed away in the early morning hours of May 31, 2024, at the Deer Lodge Medical Center.
Bob was born in Glasgow on November 21, 1956, to Arthur and Myrtle (Lukin) Wing. He grew up alongside his 2 brothers, Buster and Roger, and received his education in Glasgow. He met and pursued the love of his life, Helen Hoerster in their late teenage years. They were married and soon after were joined by their two sons, Robert A. Wing and Dennis R. Wing.
Years later, they were blessed when two wonderful granddaughters, Jessica J. Wing and Whitnie L. Wing joined the clan. Bob's family was always very important to him. He was dedicated to his life's work and was good at what he did. He made a name for himself and created a legacy.
Bob was a unique man and made an impression on most everyone he met. He really could light up a room! He was very funny- oh, the things he would come up with. He loved Rock 'n' Roll music and could talk about it for hours and hours- he knew so much about it. He was an intelligent man who knew a lot about tons of things, you could always learn something new around Bob!
He was so much fun. Nobody knew how to have fun like that guy. He lived a bold, adventurous life and no matter what, he lived his life his own way. He refused to live under anyone's rule. He lived by the quote "I'd rather be out of control than under it!" -possibly his own quote
The loss of Bob Wing has broken many hearts. He meant the world to his family and friends. He will live on in our hearts and through his legacy- the world will never be the same without him
Bob was preceded in death by his son Dennis Ray Wing and a great-granddaughter Winona Melody Wing.
He is survived by his "Lovie" Helen Louise Wing; his son, Robert Arthur Wing; granddaughters, Jessica Jewls Wing and Whitnie Lee Wing; and his brothers, Buster Wing and Roger Wing.
Robert has been cremated and according to his wishes- no formal services will be held.
