Funeral service will be 11 am Monday, July 24, 2023 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Magnolia Springs cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 23, 5-8 pm.
Born August 23,1942 to Robert H. Wood, Sr. and Jewel (Puckett) in Port Arthur, he worked as a painter in a chemical refinery.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Wood; children, Robert H. "Puddin" Wood III and Tracie of Baytown, Kris Bourque and April of Kirbyville, Kevin Wood of Silsbee, Kirk "Patty" Wood and Candice of Lumberton, Jody Harlan of Kirbyville, Wendy Christenson and Ryan of Seattle, Phillip Harlan of Pegosa Springs, Jason Harlan of Ausitn; brother, W.B. Wood and Vickie of Iola; sister, Helen Harrington of League City; 13 grandchildren, Kaynon Bourque and Jamie, Faith Willliams & Josiah, Blaine Bourque, Peyton Bourque, Kayson Wood, Kaydence Wood, Kyler Wood, Brandan Wood and Maranda, Kaleb Wood & fiancé` Kylie, Lexie Spearman, Neecie Lawson, Maggie Lawson, and Ashley Navarrette; 3 great grandchildren, Jensen Wood, Jameson Wood, and Josie Williams.
