Robert "Bob" John Workman Sr., a longtime resident of Berthoud, CO, passed away on September 3, 2025. Born on June 4, 1944, in Benkleman, NE, Bob graduated from Loveland High School in 1963. He enlisted in the Navy in August of 1963, serving three tours with the Navy SeaBees in Vietnam. After his military service, Bob dedicated 23 years to the Weld County Sheriff's Office, retiring as a Captain.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Judy Workman, whom he married on December 2, 1989. He leaves behind two sons, Robert John Workman Jr. of Berthoud and William Paul Workman (Tonya) of Berthoud, as well as four grandchildren: Robert John Workman III (Victoria) of Milliken, Katie Workman of Utah, McKayla Vise (Devin) of Milliken, and Tristen Workman of Berthoud. Bob was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Paisley, Brayden, Braxtyn, Colter, and Rynlee Workman. He is also survived by his sister, Mildred Akey of Wray, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Workman, mother, Jennie Workman, brother, Glen Workman, and sister, Merna Odell.

A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Cornerstone Cafe/New Freedom Church, located at 250 Mountain Ave, Berthoud.

Casual dress - shirts with buffalo or patriotic.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Bob's name would be appreciated.
