Robert Woudema Obituary

Bob was a retired civil engineer and served as Assistant County Engineer for Kankakee County from 1980-1999. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and received his bachelors of science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1971.
Robert loved model railroad trains and was also a member of the Kankakee Model Railroad Club, Illinois Railroad Museum Association, and Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, IN.
No visitation and/or funeral services will be held per the request of the deceased. A graveside burial will take place at 10:00AM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Roselawn Cemetery in De Motte, IN.

Bob was probably the smartest guy I knew. We had many classes together at Momence High. Although we drifted apart over the years, our meeting at a class of 67 reunion was tremendous.
