Robert Yager Obituary
Robert A. Yager (Bob) passed away on November 15, 2018 (opening day of deer season in Michigan) at his home in Orange City, Florida under the care of his wife of 55 years, Bonnie L. (Bunker, Barks) Yager and his children and Hospice.
Bob was born on November 18, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan to Cecil and Myrtle (Adams) Yager. He served in the Navy in both World War II and the Korean War. After 40 years with Consumers Power in Lansing, Bob and his wife, Bonnie, retired to Florida, finally settling in Orange City where they lived for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; his children Richard Yager, Carolyn Wilson, Bill Barks, Cindy Tierney, Michelle Engel, David (Louise) Barks and Michael (Jullie) Yager; his grandchildren Angie Cole, Christopher Wilson, Lindsey Barks, Kristen (Mitch) Cobb, Megan (Derek Trepanier) Tierney, Sara Tierney (Nathan Davis), Jason Engel, and Zachary Yager; his great-grandchildren, Justin Squires and Amaya Hall; and his brother, Donald Yager.
A graveside service with a military honor guard is planned at a later date to be determined.

So sorry to see that Mr Yager has passed away. My sympathies to Mrs. Yager and all the family. My mom and dad were Patricia and Duane Killam. They were friends with the family and Mrs. Yager was our neighbor on Western Ave. in Lansing. I remember visiting you all and having such fun. My dad passed in 1977 and my mom Pat just passed away in Feb. 2018. So hard losing your parents..my thoughts and prayers with you all.
