Roberta "Ashby" Cheatham

Roberta Cheatham passed away peacefully Saturday, February 7, 2026 surrounded by family, now reunited with the loved ones she has missed so deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morgan Cheatham, and her son, Robin Cheatham.

Roberta leaves behind her loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her son, Aubrey Cheatham (Susie); a daughter, Fran Stankevitch; and her four grandchildren, Lexie Cheatham, Heather Whelan(Dee), Morgan Mooga(Raj), and Taylor Cheatham, and her four great-grandchildren Briley & Marshall Whelan, Lily & Neo Mooga, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Roberta was known for her warmth, hospitality, and impeccable sense of style. She truly knew how to throw the very best dinner party, welcoming friends and family into her home with love, laughter, and unforgettable meals. Her house was always beautifully decorated, especially during the Christmas season, when her home became a reflection of her joy, creativity, and holiday spirit.

She loved to travel and embrace life's adventures, always creating memories along the way. Those who knew Roberta will remember her grace, her generosity, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. She also loved to talk - and she always had something to say. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply catching up, her conversations were full of life, humor, and heart.

Now, she is finally at peace, reunited with those she has lost and loved so dearly. Her memory will live on through the family and friends who were blessed to know her. Who brought her endless pride and joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Bloomfield Baptist Church, 106 Springfield Rd, Bloomfield KY 40008
