Roberta Jane (Duncan) Freimuth of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on August 26, 1953, to Frances Slayden Duncan and Clarence “Buster” Duncan. Jane was a graduate of Simon Kenton High School and was employed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms for more than 37 years.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Frances Duncan, and her sister, Judy (Duncan) Tungate.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hunter (John) Daugherty of Villa Hills, Kentucky, and her grandchildren, Stella and Duncan. She is also survived by her son, Michael Freimuth of Independence, Kentucky, and his children, Shiloh and Chase. Jane is further survived by her siblings, Jeffrey (Barb) Duncan of Independence, Kentucky; JoAnn (Ron) Brown of Walton, Kentucky; and John Duncan of Covington, Kentucky.
