Roberta Galten Obituary
Roberta was a skilled nurse for over 20 years in Concord, California specializing in hematology-oncology. After moving to Oregon in 1987 she and her husband Jim opened the beautiful Headlands Country Mercantile gift store. In her retirement, she volunteered her time at the Coquille Ladies Auxiliary VFW where she was the chapter president for 12+ years and she enjoyed working as a care giver.
Roberta is survived by children, Theresa Galten and Lisa Galten, son-in-law Fernando Nava, grandchildren Maya Nava and Gabriel Nava. She is also survived by brothers Lynn Haller and Baron Velcoff and sister Laurie Haller. Roberta served as a nurse in the US Navy and will be laid to rest at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Oregon.
Cremation Rites have been held under the direction of Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary, 405 Elrod Ave, Coos Bay, Oregon 541-267-4216

Bobbie You were and Are the Best Sister that Anybody, anyone could ever have or ever will have. You were always there through thick and thin. No matter what the circumstance you were always there by my side cheering me on for the best outcome in any and all circumstances and or situation at hand. I will forever miss you more than you will ever know.
