Roberta St. "Bobbi" Germain

Roberta "Bobbi" St Germain, nee Dyer, 81, passed away on August 22, 2024 after a year long battle with unexpected metastatic cancer. She was married to the love of her life, Rance St Germain, for 62 years.
Roberta was born in Farmsville, VA on April 30, 1943 and is the daughter of the late Barber and Viola Dyer. Roberta grew up in Oklahoma until age 12. Her family moved to Nashua, NH and she attended Nashua public schools from 7th grade onward, graduating from Nashua High in 1961. Roberta and Rance raised their family in both Nashua and Amherst, NH.
Roberta and Rance also lived in Springhill FL from 2005 to 2015, and then returned to the Nashua area to be closer to family and friends.
In her free time, Roberta loved to read, go to the beach, play table games and travel. She enjoyed traveling to the United Kingdom where her daughter lived from 1985-1996. Roberta walked along the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland, along paths way above the sea, despite her fear of heights. Her biggest travel adventure was meeting her daughter Robin in Australia and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. Roberta was an avid movie goer all her life. Her 10 minutes of fame came when she was asked to give her Oscar picks for a local radio station on a live broadcast many years ago.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Rance St Germain and her son, Randy St Germain of Nashua and daughter, Robin St Germain and her husband Danford Leonard of Lyman NH; her two brothers Bob Dyer and his wife, Denise and Dick Dyer and his wife, Carmen as well as her sister-in-law Sandy Walder and niece Sue Gagan and her husband Bill Gagan. Roberta's beloved grandchildren are: Amanda St Germain, Remi St Germain, and Ford, May and Annie Leonard, as well as dozens of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Roberta's family would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff of Pathways Home Hospice services for the love and kindness and care given to Roberta. They would also like to thank Community Hospice House for their endless support and care given during Roberta's last days.
A memorial gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st from 2-4pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street Nashua, NH 03064.
