Roberta Anne Harrison Obituary Roberta Anne Harrison of Rockville, Maryland, passed peacefully on October 25th, 2025. She was born July 8, 1940 on Long Island, daughter of the late Elmo and Mary(Ackalitis) Harrison. Roberta served in the Peace Corps for many years doing missionary work. She was so proud to say she was in the Peace Corps. After returning, she had a few secretarial positions till she started working in the law department of the Long Island Railroad for the rest of her career. Roberta then retired and moved to Rockville, Maryland where she resided for the last 20+ years.She has always made sure she gave to charity monthly and was an avid Catholic, living her life doing good where she could. Roberta is survived by her devoted niece and godchild, Patti Demarest (Mark), brother William Harrison, nephews Curtis Fisher (Tammie), Paul Fisher (Melissa), Michael Harrison (Laura) and niece Kathleen Richards (Darrius). Longtime friend of Kathy Moyer and Judith Caldwell.

A mass will be held at St.Mary's Church in Rockville, Maryland on Tuesday Nov 11, 2025, 10:30 am to celebrate her life. Burial will be in New York where she will be with her pre-deceased sister, Mary Fisher on December 13, 2025…

In lieu of flowers, Aunt Roberta's favorite charities were: Wounded Warriors and the Humane Society.
