Roberta M. Knight

Roberta M. Knight, 90, of Slater, died Friday, February 6, 2026 at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

Per her request, there will be no services. Memorials are suggested to the Slater United Methodist Church, Big Bend Retreat, or Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born August 27, 1935 in Forest Green, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Niekamp Adams. She was married to Ronald Arlee Knight, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived a daughter, Rhonda Kay Weis of Mantorville, Minnesota; a half-brother, Roy Adams, Jr. of Unionville, Missouri; her life-long partner, Ben Frazee of the home; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Robert Arlee Knight; a brother, Harold Adams; and a sister, Glennetta Burks.

Ms. Knight was a member of the Slater United Methodist Church. She was a 1953 graduate of Glasgow High School. She was self-employed with Ben in their custom farming operation, working as a grain truck driver. She was an avid supporter of 4-H in Minnesota. She had lived in the Slater area for forty-five years, moving from Dodge Center, Minnesota. She loved being active in the Methodist Church in Dodge Center and in Slater.
