Funeral services for Roberta Lorenson of Middle River will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Grace Evangelical Church, Strathcona, MN at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held at the church from 5-7 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Roberta Lynn Lorenson, 70 of Middle River, MN passed away at her home on June 19, 2024. She was born in Greenbush, MN on December 30, 1953 to Lloyd and Lola (Hams) McFarlane. She grew up in rural Greenbush where she attended school, later earning her GED.
Roberta and Dennis Lorenson were married on November 7, 1970. They lived in Strathcona, MN and Glyndon, MN before settling in Karlstad to raise their family, where she worked as a home health aide and also did work on the side painting and wallpapering. In 1994 she began working at Paradise cafe in Strathcona, MN. Dennis and Roberta moved to Middle River in 2010.
Roberta was the matriarch of her family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and girlfriends. Fishing, meat raffles, camping and time spent at the cabin at Rainy River Resort were also favorites. Dennis and Roberta spent several winters in Wickenberg, AZ.
Roberta is survived by her husband Dennis; children Tracy (Chris Danzl) Lorenson, Travis (Brook Renteria) Lorenson, Trent (Jodi) Lorenson and Trevor (Laura) Lorenson; siblings Marvin McFarlane, Sharon Flug, Lloydeen Peterson and Rayetta Olberg; grandchildren Jake Sele, Brandi Berg, Paige Sundby, Hope Masloski, Killian, Ashlyn, and Bently Lorenson, Anna and Cassie Baumgartner; great-grandchildren Triton, Dax and Beckett Sele, Brooks and Everett Berg, and Taylin, Holton and Emry Sundby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, numerous aunts and uncles, and great-granddaughter Willa Mae Masloski. Recording of Service
