Maida, Roberta J. a longtime resident of Dedham, passed away on January 26, 2023.
Roberta was born in 1939 to the late Angelo and Angelina Maida.
Roberta graduated from Dedham High School. She then went into the workforce where she held various jobs throughout her career. Her most proud accomplishment was being certified as a Paralegal. In her younger days you could find her playing tennis as she was an avid tennis player.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dedham. She had a passion for volunteering. She was a political volunteer, volunteered at several hospitals, was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and participated in several walks for the cause of hunger and cancer, just to name a few. She was also a volunteer at the Endicott Estate, in Dedham, where her mother "Angelina" was born.
She is preceded in death by her brothers John Maida, Anthony Maida, Joey Maida, Donald Maida and Ronald Maida. She is survived by her sister Theresa Holzworth of North Little Rock, Arkansas and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and God children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11:00am – 12:45pm at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, Dedham with burial immediately following in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.

I last saw Roberta at our 40th reunion of Dedham High Class of 57. She looked "fabulous". I then found out that she was single. No wonder she looked so good. She was a very nice and thoughtful lady.
