Roberta McClure Obituary
Mrs. Roberta Rose McClure age 82, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead. She was born on August 25, 1940 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Oather and Roberta Kirby Bullock. She was a retired legal secretary, enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, and was of the Baptist faith. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband James to over 47 states50.
Survivors are: her husband of 60 years; Mr. James McClure of Mt.Vernon. One daughter; Krystal Kelley and (Neil) of Mt.Vernon. One grandchild; Dalton Durham, and two step-grandchildren; Hope & Blayne Kelley also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: two infant brothers; Oather & Josiah.
Funeral services for Mrs. Roberta Rose McClure will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday August 5, 2023 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Friday.
