Roberta T. McCrave

Roberta T. (Sullivan) McCrave, 69, of Greenville, passed away on July 28, 2023. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Evelyn) Sullivan. She is survived by her three children, Michaela Jenkins and her husband Justin of Scituate, Joseph McCrave of Johnston, and David McCrave and his wife Katie of Cumberland. Grandmother to Jackson, Stella, Liam, Vivienne and Owen. She was the sister of Kathy Andrea and her husband David, Dennis Sullivan and his late wife Christine, Ellen Cardarelli, and Patricia Pontarelli and her husband Gary. She is predeceased by her brother, William Sullivan II, and her former husband, the late Joseph L. McCrave.
Roberta grew up in Cranston and later settled with her family in North Providence. Family was always the heart of everything she enjoyed. Roberta had a love for the holidays, especially Christmas Eve. Whether it was summer Sundays at Keech Pond or Friday night card games with her siblings and many cousins, being with her family was what she loved the most.
The majority of her years were spent raising her children and providing them with a loving home. Later in life she worked in various administrative roles, most recently with the Whitmarsh House in Providence. Roberta was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to all of her family. Her absence will always be felt, but her kindness and love will never be forgotten.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 8:45am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI. Burial will follow at Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. A wake to honor Roberta's life will be held on Tuesday August 1st, 2023 from 4pm-7pm.
