William F. "Bill" McCrave

William (Bill) F. McCrave, 84, of Naples, FL and Narragansett, RI, passed away peacefully September 28, 2025 with his loving family by his side.

Bill had a passion for boating, was an avid skier and golfer, had a true appreciation for music, loved being on the dance floor with his wife and children, and was never seen without a good cigar. He was a past member of Quidnessett Country Club, East Greenwich Yacht Club, and the United States Power Squadron. His career began with Thermoid Division of H. K. Porter Co. where he was quickly promoted to District Manager. He later accepted an Advertising Sales position with New England Telephone. After 31 years of dedication--through all spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions, and name changes--he retired as one of the most highly respected employees due to his honesty, integrity, and work ethic.

Born in Providence, RI, Bill was the loving husband of Patricia (Blanchette) McCrave; adored father of Cynthia Anderson (Richard) of Charlestown, RI; Lori McCrave of Charlestown, RI; and Kimberly Mallon (John) of Delray Beach, FL. He was a cherished grandfather to Heather, Christopher, Lindsey, Kristy, and Bailey, and great grandfather of Mila, Caiden, Zachary, and Colton. Bill was predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret (Conlan) McCrave, and brothers Charles McCrave and James McCrave.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, October 2nd from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home of Patrick Quinn Funerals and Cremations, 825 Boston Neck Rd, North Kingstown, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett on Friday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly, RI.
