Robin Croft Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Quinn Funeral Home - Warwick on Feb. 13, 2026.
Robin E. Croft, 62, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Raised in Warwick, she was the first-born child of the late Anne B. Croft and John T. Croft Jr.

She leaves her life partner David Salerno, her son Michael Croft, her sisters Michelle White and her husband Richard and Erin McCaughey and her life partner Marc Chapron, her nieces Megan Ferla and her husband Alan, Jessica McCaughey and her wife Anissa, her nephews Michael McCaughey and his wife Marina, John Nolan and his wife Mariana, and Michael Marzilli and his fiancé Andrew Dasilva, who her family discovered a few years ago and accepted with joy and love, and her step-children Jessica Machado, Jennifer Salerno and her partner Gordon, Joshua Salerno and his wife Alison, and Jordon Salerno. She had several grandchildren and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother John Croft and her nephew James White.

Robin also leaves many close life-long friends, who she loved unconditionally and considered family.

Robin was a Realtor for many years, studied martial arts, and taught kick aerobics. She opened and ran the John T. Croft Jr. Recovery House, helping women on their journey to a sober life, for which she won the Good Neighbor Award from the National Association of Realtors.

When Robin entered a room, everyone felt her energy and presence. Her bright smile and incredible spirit captured people's attention everywhere she went. Always putting other people's needs before her own, she made everyone feel special, always asking people what they needed or how she could help. Robin would give away anything and everything she had if it could help someone. Robin blessed many friends and random strangers with small trinkets and gifts, always insisting that they accept them. Robin lived by the motto, "Pay it Forward," practicing it every day.

Robin was always in the right place to rescue any and all animals. Dogs and cats randomly showed up in her life and she always accepted them with love. Even Stanley the crow was treated to a pampered life with her when he became unable to fly. Robin showed her love for all of God's creatures.

Robin touched the lives of everyone she met. She took her role as big sister, and later as matriarch, very seriously. She was a fierce protector for everyone she loved, worrying about them until her last breath. She was generous beyond measure and shared her time, attention, love and material things with everyone. Her beautiful spirit was a strong force, affecting everyone she met. Her faith was strong, she knew heaven was waiting for her, and she was at peace with it. She will be greeted by all of her loved ones and animals who have passed before her, causing happy chaos as usual.

This world will not be the same without her.

Her Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2:00-4:00pm, followed by a Chapel Service at 4:00pm, in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, donations to Project Hand Up, 15 Factory Street, West Warwick RI 02893 would be greatly appreciated.
