Roberta J. Milius

Roberta J. Milius, 75, of Monticello, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at University of Chicago Hospital.
Roberta was born on January 26, 1949, to Robert & Iris (Cavanaugh) Waugaman in Gary, IN. She graduated from Thorton Fractional North High School in 1967 and then continued her education at Bethel University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree years later. She worked as a buyer for Tennessee Metal Specialties and Hayward Company. She then owned and operated Loufer's Lounge in Dyersburge, TN. In June of 2012, Roberta married Samuel Milius in Hammond, IN. Being a former professional singer, Roberta enjoyed performing in her spare time.
Roberta is survived by her sons, Kevin (Kelly Dunfee) Moore of Lansing, IL and Christopher Moore of Bourbonnais, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samuel Milius.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11AM, at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton Street, New Buffalo, MI 49117, with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating. Inurnment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on May 22, 2024, from 4PM until 7PM, at the funeral home.
