With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Perez, age 66, of Santa Rosa, California, who left this world peacefully on November 12, 2025. Born on June 13, 1959, Roberta lived a life defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering devotion. She gave of herself in ways that made everyone around her feel seen, supported, and cherished. Roberta was the kind of woman who checked in on others without being asked, offered comfort before anyone knew they needed it, and showed her love through small, thoughtful acts that meant more than words ever could. She honored the memories of those who passed before her - including her late husband, Robert Perez - by keeping their stories alive and holding family traditions close to her heart. To Roberta, family wasn't just important - it was her purpose, her pride, her world. She found joy in the simple things that brought people together. She loved playing and watching pool, sharing laughter over games of bingo, and celebrating Thanksgiving - a holiday that reflected everything she treasured: connection, warmth, and togetherness. Above all, Roberta devoted herself to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for them was deep, protective, nd endlessly giving. She leaves behind many grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her love and guidance in their hearts. She also shared a special bond with her dog, Vee, whose loyal presence brought Roberta comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. Roberta is survived by her daughters Jessica Cannon Perez, Maria McCloud, Christine McCloud, and Crystal Perez; and her brothers Robert Whitman, Raymond Fulwider, and Johnny Lopez. She also leaves behind grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will forever carry her light within them, including James Somersall, Nathan Somersall, Fabian Somersall, Monte Moreno, Yolanda McCloud, Mariah Somersall, Andrea Poe, Juanita Moreno, and Andrew Moreno. Each of them holds a piece of her heart, and through them, her spirit will continue to live on. As we come together, we honor Roberta's courage and the grace with which she faced her final days. Her resilience was quiet yet powerful, inspiring all who ere by her side. She faced her challenges with courage that inspired everyone who wen stood beside her. We gather not only to remember her, but to show our deepest respect for a woman whose heart touched so many. We thank her family for allowing us the privilege of being part of her life - a life filled with meaning, generosity, and compassion. Each of us carries our own story of how Roberta shaped us, supported us, or loved us in a way that only she could. Her impact is woven into our lives forever. Roberta will be profoundly missed, but the love she gave, the warmth she shared, and the strength she embodied will continue to guide us. Her memory will remain a source of comfort, gratitude, and inspiration for all who knew her. We will carry her with us - always. A memorial service to honor Roberta's life will be held on: Friday, December 5, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary & Crematory, 9660 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor, CA 95492.
