Marcia Joan Maloney

Marcia J. Maloney of Windsor, CA passed away from complications of Alzheimer's on November 2nd, 2025, at the age of 86. Marcia was born on September 20th, 1939, and grew up on a farm near Homer Nebraska. She was a life-long learner and achieved a master's degree in education and proceeded to become a Reading Specialist and elementary school teacher, changing the lives of many people.
Marcia loved music all her life, playing piano until she couldn't, and enjoyed singing and humming tunes until her last days. Her three dogs; Rocky, Spicey, and Tassie were comforting angels during her difficulties. Marcia enjoyed all kinds of crafts and was a precision artist, enjoying sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She was especially good at chip carving and received several awards as well as teaching others.
She is survived by her husband, Neil Maloney, married 55 years, her sisters; JoEllen Ruschmann-Miller and Pam Hight; her children; Julie Ann Bergholdt, Bryan Powell, Tim Maloney and Amy Maloney. Marcia's grandchildren are Becky Barnes, Devon Powell, Ghesline DePedro, Meghan Thompson, Jodee Alexander, Andi Pfarr, Haley Maloney and Austin Maloney. And nine great grandchildren.
Marcia's loving, kind, and gentle nature will be remembered fondly. She will be deeply missed.
