Roberta Ruth Searcy, 86, Princeton, MO passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Roberta was born on May 24, 1939, in Mercer, Missouri the daughter of Fred Azel and Mary Augusta (Gibson) Robinson.

On October 13, 1963, she married James Ernest Searcy. He survives of the home.

Roberta was a graduate of Mercer High School in 1957. She worked as an insurance agent and was a member of the Mercer Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond; and daughter, Janet.

In addition to her husband, Roberta is survived by her daughter, Karma (Ray) Summers, Chillicothe, MO; sisters-in-law, Joy Robinson, Norma Hobbs, and Lyla Searcy; grandchildren, Malloree, Seth, and Timothy Summers; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20 at the Mercer Methodist Church, Mercer, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in Wilder Cemetery, Mercer, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Wilder Cemetery and/or Mercer Methodist Church in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 316, Princeton, MO 64673. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
