Roberta A. Switz, age 93, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in her home at Coventry Senior Living in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

Roberta was born on October 20, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Lenore Taylor, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike Switz.

Roberta is survived by her son, Robert Switz, and his wife, Erin (EKP) Switz; her beloved sisters, Marlynn Ewing and Rhoda Garcia; her cherished grandchildren, Steven and his wife Hannah, James, Scott, and Libby; and her nieces and nephews Debbie Ibach, Susan Ewing, Missy McDonnald, Anita Garcia, Ricky Lopez

A graduate of Moore College of Art, Roberta earned a degree in Art and carried her creativity throughout her life. She worked as a florist, a profession that beautifully reflected her artistic eye and love of creating beauty for others. Beyond her work, Roberta was a painter and poet, expressing her deep emotions and observations through color and words.

Roberta was known for her caring spirit, determination, and quiet strength. She had a remarkable ability to make things happen-almost daily miracles, as those who knew her would say. Once she set her mind to something, it was going to happen. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering resolve left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, located at 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065, on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the beautiful life Roberta lived.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
