Roberta Tuck Obituary
Roberta was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of the late Robert A. and Ida Gorsuch.
Roberta was an accomplished singer and a mezzo-soprano voice for the Bel Canto Singers in Southern California. She also taught voice at the University of Maine at Machias. She worked as an auditor for many years at Machias Savings Bank before her eventual retirement. She was known for her quick wit and deep love of animals.
Roberta leaves behind her six children, Elizabeth Ramirez of Texas, Ellery Tuck III and wife Laura of Ohio, Aileen Tietjen and husband Tom of Minnesota, Eric Tuck and wife Caitlin of Westerly, Stephanie Tuck and husband Aaron Borsher of Stonington and Erica Boffi of Pawcatuck; as well as thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Jeremy Tuck.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 9, 2026 from 2pm – 3pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral service and burial will be private. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
