Roberta Jean Zamora

Our Beloved Roberta Jean Zamora, 67 was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 25, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Roberta was born on September 11, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM where she was raised. A native New Mexican she attended Albuquerque public schools and graduated from Del Norte High School class of 1972. She worked in insurance claims processing before finding her passion in HealthCare. Roberta graduated from UNM with a Certificate as a Nursing Assistant. She took pride in caring for her residents. She worked part time for several bingo associations and loved her bingo family. Roberta was known for her fun loving, spontaneous spirit and showed unconditional love to everyone who crossed her path. She loved her friends and family and enjoyed spending time with them all. Roberta was a strong and vibrant woman taken too soon from those that loved her.
Roberta is survived by her mother Candy Zamora, children Justin Abrams (Kathleen), Tesha (Miguel) Martinez, Aurie Abrams (Angelica), grandchildren Leon Abrams, Carlo Martinez, Dyamond Martinez and Mason White, Siblings Billy (Patsy) Zamora, Leonard (Myra) Zamora, (Twin) Robert Zamora and a large extended family and friends. Roberta is preceded in death by (Grandparents) Eleno and Rita Zamora Melquides and Maria Chavez, (father) Billy Zamora, (Nephew) Steven Zamora, (Niece) Charmaine Zamora, (Cousin) Theresa Chavez.
Memorial Service will be held on November 8, 2021 starting at 2:00p with reception to follow at Grace Church located on 6901 San Antonio Drive NE Albuquerque, NM 87109.
