Roberto Cortez

Roberto Cortez, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. Born on October 27, 1945, Roberto lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought strength and warmth to all who knew him.

Roberto was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosa Cortez; his parents, Pablo Cortez and Julianna Medeles; and other loved ones who welcomed him into eternal rest. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his daughters, Vianei (Ramon) Garcia and Veronica (Romel) Hinojosa. His greatest joy was his grandchildren: Romel Hinojosa Jr., Derek Garcia, Giselle Hinojosa, Briana Garcia, and Milcael Hinojosa, who brought immense pride and happiness to his life.

Roberto is also survived by his siblings: Eglentina Campos, Israel Cortez, Baudilia Farias, and Hernan Cortez, along with many extended family members and dear friends. Roberto will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his quiet strength, and his generous heart. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the memories he created, and the love he shared so freely. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife and at peace.
