Robin Adkins

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Lynn Adkins, who left this world on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 53. Robin was born on February 7, 1972.

While we grieve her unexpected departure, we celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Robin was known for her unwavering sense of humor, love of football, craftiness, and her dedication to her family. Her presence brought light and laughter, comfort, and support to the lives of her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Robin is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years Billy Adkins. Her children and 10 grandchildren.

Ryan and Jessica Adkins- Lynzie, Kylee, Allie, and Jay, Randall Adkins and Jackie Kidd- Grayson, Spencer and Archer. Brandi and Julian Arreguin - Brycen, Felyx, and Jaclynn, Zachary Adkins, Her mother Pat and John Thompson, Her siblings, nieces, and nephews, Richie and Erica Jones. Samantha-Madalyn and Melanie Jessica- Caleb, Rylie Matthew- Aubree, Issac, Harper. Makayla and Dalton Huffstettler- Noah and Paisley. Casey and Haley Jones. Alexis, Elijah, and Aiden. Nikki and Mike LeMaster- Ellie Becky and Aaron Allen. Mother-in-law Josephine McKnight. Joey- Logan, Landon, and Levi Teddy and Sabrina Phalin- Ashley DJ, Alex, Kira, Collin, and Nevaeh Richard Knisley Stepfamily: Susie Jones, James Smith and April. Special Cousins- Angel and Daryl Plumley and a host of extended family members and cherished friends.

Robin was preceded in death by her brother Louie Jones, dad Richard Jones, Uncle Richard Reed, her grandparents Dewey Reed, Virginia Reed, Edith and Judd Jones, Dolly and Hubert Adkins. her sister-in-law Jennifer Phalin her brother-in-law Willie Adkins.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 3:30 until service time.

A very special thank-you goes to her daughter, Erica Jones (Patrick), who went above and beyond in every possible way. Her unwavering love, dedication, and the countless things she did (seen and unseen) carried Robin farther than she ever could’ve gone. We are also deeply grateful to Lottie Perdue, Coal City EMS for their gentle attention and care, Georgie McKoy, ER RN at Raleigh General, for her guidance and care during the first difficult days, to the staff at CAMC Memorial for the compassion they showed in her final days, and to the Cancer Center and Erica Tuck for supporting her throughout her journey. A final thank you to Ronnie Foster for being there for the family on her final days.
