Robin Dawn Arnett, 59, of North Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Dennis
James Arnett, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023 at the
hospital, surrounded by her mother, sister, and husband.
Robin is survived by her husband, Dennis James Arnett, mother Mary Ellen
Smyth, stepfather Kevin "Bruce" Moon, brother Ronnie "Bubby"
McLaughlin, sister Amber Spring Simmons, brother-in-law David Simmons
Sr., sister-in-law Sherry McLaughlin, nephews Ronnie McLaughlin and
David Simmons Jr, nieces Brittany McLaughlin and Josey McLaughlin,
great nephews Connor McLaughlin and Aaron McLaughlin, and great niece
Allie Sharp. Her family and friends were everything to her.
Robin Dawn Arnett was born on March 3, 1964 in Evansville, Indiana to
Ronnie Gene McLaughlin Sr. and Mary (Traylor) McLaughlin. Robin was
the first sibling of three children.
Robin attended Castle High School and continued her education to become
a Certified Nursing Assistant. Robin loved caring for her patients and
spending time with them. Robin loved her many animals, enjoyed hosting
parties, traveling, going to the beach, growing plants in her garden, and
amusing her family and friends. Robin loved spending endless time in
nature while hiking, camping and cherishing wildlife. She never met a
stranger that she did not know and always had a story or joke to tell. Robin
was a very kind and caring person. We have seen her take her shoes off
and give them to someone in need and walk home barefoot. She was a
loving free spirit that welcomed you into her heart. She filled a space that
no one can fill and will be greatly missed.
