Robin Basham Obituary
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Jesse and Verna Brown, her sister Diane, Brother Jesse Jr (Junie), daughter Terri, and great grandson Lorenzo.
Robin was a retired business owner, member of the Woman's Auxiliary, 4x cancer survivor and beloved surrogate mother to everyone she met. Robin was a strong and determined woman whose spirit could not be broken. There was never a moment she didn't have a smile on her face. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 45 years (John Basham Sr), son John Basham Jr, daughters Amanda Basham (Chris), Samantha Basham (Trey), granddaughters- Breah, Addison, Kynzie, Aubrey, Paige, Riley, Miya, Whitney, Natalie, and grandson Sammy. Siblings-Tommy (Mimi), Roger (Debbie), Gloria, Mark (Sherry), Phyllis, Paula, Wanda (Steve), Jeff, and Mike. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends close enough to be considered family.
Visitation will be held at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie highway, Wednesday, May 14th from 11-5 with services held at 5.

Robin was a very special and beautiful woman. I remember hiring her for the city sales counter at Rueff Lighting. No one learned the business faster, or charmed the customers more. She had a smile for everyone and was loved by all her co-workers. Robin set a high standard in balancing work and family while fighting cancer. Appreciated her friendship and example.
